A. V. HOME CARE SERVICES HOLDS 8th ANNUAL YARD SALE/BAKE SALE TO BENEFIT "DOROTHY'S GIFT"
Berlin, NH, May 15, 2010 -- The Board and Staff of A. V. Home Care Services is pleased to announce their Eighth Annual INDOOR-OUTDOOR Yard Sale/Bake Sale to benefit "Dorothy's Gift" on Saturday, May 15th from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm at the courtyard entrance at 795 Main Street, Berlin, NH. A V Home Care Services supports the needs of frail elderly, disabled and recuperating adults as they strive to live independently in their own homes. Through "Dorothy's Gift" we have made home care assistance available to many more people than our traditional funding sources could ever accommodate alone. Dorothy gave us the notion and our "seed" money of $5 back in 2005. Since then, we have seen how a grateful heart like her own can change the world.
A.V. Home Care Services has been serving Berlin and the surrounding communities since 1975, providing homemaking (cleaning, cooking, errands and laundry) and personal care services (bathing,) companion, and caregiver respite support to anyone wishing to live independently in their homes.
